To start the New Year, our own Edward Almond will talk about the Ancient Olympic Games; nothing like the events we will see this year I'm sure.
Lancashire Folk Music will again feature in February when our member Sid Calderbank and his company will perform the story of the Lancashire Cotton Famine with a special mention of Farington.
Other highlights include Steve Williams in March with the story of the Chorley Pals.
In April, Steven Moran will take us on a journey through the Williamson Tunnels under Liverpool, an actual visit planned for later in the year.
